![]() ![]() The elevators were the same, so there were security measures in place to keep guests safe. The revolving doors to the hotel lock after a certain time so you need your hotel key to enter. The restaurant on the first floor (not the rooftop bar) will supply you with a glass bottle that you can fill up with still or sparkling water to keep in your room. When I spoke with staff they were very friendly. It was maybe an 8 minute walk to the Smithsonian museums and about a 15-20 minute walk to the Holocaust Museum. It’s a safe area and we felt comfortable walking. There’s two nearby metros but we didn’t even use it as everything was within walking distant. There are spots on the street but I might’ve saw one spot open up the whole time we were there so do not count on parking on the street. We opted to park our car in the parking garage a few blocks away for $75 (it was maybe a 5 minute walk to the hotel). There is a parking garage right next to the hotel but for our stay it was a little on the expensive side ($175 for 4 days). We were able to see the capital building from our room. ![]() "This hotel was amazing! Yes, they have an iPad that controls the lights, blinds, and TV but there are still switches and a TV remote in case the iPad crashes or if someone isn’t big on technology. ![]()
